The Project Office is responsible for an efficient management of the whole CONTICA project. It serves as the central link between the Coordinator, the consortium partners, the external scientific and ethical advisors and the European Commission. The Project Office is located at the University Hospital of Göttingen and consists of a scientific project manager (PD Dr. Jens Kockskämper) and an administrative project manager (Annika Wilke).

The responsibilities of the scientific project manager include:

• monitoring of scientific progress and scientific reporting
• publications
• ethical issues
• maintenance of the project website

The responsibilities of the administrative project manager include:

• financial and legal issues
• administrative issues and financial reporting
• questions concerning the consortium agreement
• organisation of project meetings

The Project Office is supervised and supported by the Coordinator and by the Director of the Department of International Relations, Ms Christiane Hennecke, M.A. In addition, an external legal advisor provides support to the Coordinator and to the Project Office in all legal questions.
