IMGM Laboratories was founded in 2001 as a spin-off from the Department for Clinical Chemistry at the University Hospital of Munich and is located at the biotech campus Martinsried near Munich.

IMGM is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, DIN EN ISO 15189 and EFI (European Federation of Immunogenetics) and is fully accredited for gene expression analysis and quantitative real-time PCR.

We cover the areas of DNA services (e.g. whole genome and focused content SNP genotyping, DNA-sequencing and re-sequencing, quantitative real-time PCR, HLA typing, pharmacogenetics), RNA services (e.g. RNA isolation service, whole genome microarray screening (e.g. human, mouse, rat), quantitative real-time PCR for gene expression analysis, microRNA analysis), Bioinformatics (e.g. for whole genome gene expression and SNP genotyping data, building of classifiers) and Consulting (e.g. assay development, QC etc.).
